We all know how often a couple forgets to remove the price tags from their vases or candle holders or photo frames. We all get left removing the labels and trying to get rid of the sticky residue.

Well shopping in Office Depot the other day for some organizational stuff (cause my office badly needs reorganization LOL), I saw this little dandy item…

Adhesive remover in a pen form – fabulous for me to add to my emergency kit. Now, when I need it, I have quick access to removing a label, without destroying my nails.

Create a Colour Palate

Whether you are trying to pick colors for a couples’ invitations or developing a palate for your own website, sometimes getting the perfect color combinations can be tough.

One cool little tool that I tend to have some fun with, is an online Colour Palate Creator you can view online here: http://www.degraeve.com/color-palette/ - simply put in the web address of an inspiration photo, and instantly have a number of colors picked out direct from the image.

It even creates two color palates – one dull one, one vibrant one

It’s a great tool when a bride sends a picture of her bridesmaid dress, but the invitation printer needs to know a bit more about the specific colors or shade to use – you can now give them a very close numbered color, even though it’s a web color based number.

This little emergency bag must have is a product that will help you erase any red wine stains that any guests may experience (or heaven forbid, the bride!)

Early in my career, I had the pleasure of removing red wine from the very top of a gown to the bottom hem – about an 8″ wide streak, thanks to her new hubby kicking the podium during their speech and sending her wine flying! Then, I only had club soda, a roll of paper towels, and about 5 guests helping me. We got the stains pretty much out within 20 minutes, but this product definately would have made it easier.
